David Webb
Starting out at the age of 14, David Webb was inspired by his older sister's performance in "A Mid Summer Night's Dream" to take up the stage and join the year 12's final production as Jack in the classic "Into The Woods". From here, David continued to follow his passions, be it in dance competitions or staged productions, through his high school years. Knowing this was the industry for him, he furthered his knowledge by getting a more 'hands-on' education through TAFE learning what it takes to go behind the scenes of the making of film and television. In 2014, David took a few years off for self discovery abroad only to return realizing he was on the right path. Several Student films later, David was left with a choice; to return as a lead in an upcoming theatre production, or travel to Melbourne and better understand his innate acting ability with the help of Craig McMahon. 2019 brought some hard trials to the world, with the pandemic locking down Melbourne on and off for 3 years. David emerged from it all with the same hunger in his eyes as when he went in, and has been involved in several well budgeted short films (including the Oregon 'Best Drama Micro Short Film' Award Winner; "Sandfall"), as well as lend his voice to several American, British, and Chinese animated productions.
